Reflections on My Journey to Juggling: From an Idea to a Reality

For many years, I've been fascinated by the idea of juggling. It always seemed like such an impressive and challenging skill to master, one that required dedication and hard work. Little did I know that it was all about taking small, consistent steps.

It all started three years ago, when I watched my first juggling video on YouTube with a friend. We attempted to learn the skill using baseballs and a piece of paper, but after a few days, my friend was able to juggle 2-3 balls while I was still struggling. The lessons we were learning were not broken down enough and we quickly lost motivation.

However, in 2020, the birth of my daughter reignited my passion for learning new things and pushed me to finally pick up juggling once again. I came across Tony Buzan's book, "Brain Child : How Smart Parents Make Smart Kids," and read that juggling is beneficial for children's brain development. This further motivated me to learn and practice juggling in front of my daughter, who always enjoys watching it.

I followed a video tutorial and was amazed to learn that it claimed that anyone could learn to juggle in just one hour. Although it took me a bit longer, I was determined to make it happen. I practiced for about 1-2 hours each day, focusing on one specific exercise for several days until I started to see progress. In a matter of just a few months, I was able to juggle three balls without dropping them.

The experience taught me the power of small steps and how they can lead to big results. Today, I can confidently juggle with objects of different shapes and sizes, and it has become a fun activity that I enjoy doing with my daughter. My next goal is to learn how to juggle five balls, and I'm excited to see what new skills I'll master along the way.

In conclusion, juggling has been a valuable and enriching experience for me. It has taught me the importance of perseverance, consistency, and taking small steps towards a big goal. I hope that my story will inspire others to pursue their own passions and interests, and to never give up on their dreams.
